TT-X is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of **CD73** (ecto-5'-nucleotidase) being developed by **Teon Therapeutics**. CD73 is a key enzyme in the adenosine signaling pathway, responsible for the conversion of extracellular adenosine monophosphate (AMP) into adenosine. In the tumor microenvironment, high levels of adenosine act as a potent immunosuppressant, inhibiting the activity of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells while promoting the recruitment of regulatory T cells and myeloid-derived suppressor cells. By inhibiting CD73, TT-X aims to block the production of adenosine, thereby reversing immunosuppression and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The program is part of Teon's broader pipeline focused on the adenosine pathway in oncology.
