Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UB-925 is a monoclonal antibody developed by United BioPharma (UBP) that targets Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (VEGFR2). By binding to VEGFR2, UB-925 inhibits the interaction between VEGF and its receptor, thereby blocking VEGF/VEGFR2-mediated signaling pathways essential for tumor angiogenesis. This mechanism is intended to suppress the growth and metastasis of solid tumors by limiting their blood supply. UB-925 is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of various cancers, including gastric cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and colorectal cancer.
