Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UCLG805 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by UTC Therapeutics. It is engineered to target glypican-3 (GPC3), a cell-surface oncofetal antigen highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The therapy is produced using a lentiviral vector (LVV) and incorporates UTC Therapeutics' proprietary LACO-Stim® technology, which is designed to enhance T-cell stimulation and improve the persistence and efficacy of CAR-T cells against solid tumors. UCLG805 is currently being evaluated in preclinical studies for the treatment of GPC3-positive hepatocellular cancer.
