Overview

UCLH805F is a chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by UTC Therapeutics that targets Cadherin-17 (CDH17) for the treatment of CDH17-positive refractory solid tumors. The therapy is engineered using UTC's proprietary FlashCAR platform, which utilizes a lentiviral vector (LVV) system and LACO-Stim® technology to produce potent T cells. CDH17 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule primarily expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and overexpressed in various gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. UCLH805F is designed to specifically identify and eliminate CDH17-expressing malignant cells while minimizing off-target effects on normal tissues.
