UCLM805F is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by UTC Therapeutics for the treatment of mesothelin-positive (MSLN+) refractory solid tumors. The therapy utilizes UTC's proprietary FlashCAR format, which is designed to enhance the engineering and efficacy of T cells. It also incorporates the LACO-Stim platform, a T-cell enhancing technology intended to overcome the inhibitory effects of the tumor microenvironment. UCLM805F specifically targets mesothelin, a cell-surface protein frequently overexpressed in various solid malignancies, to mediate targeted tumor cell lysis.
