Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UIV011 is an investigational in vivo CAR-T cell therapy developed by UTC Therapeutics for the treatment of glypican-3 (GPC3)-positive hepatocellular carcinoma. Utilizing UTC's proprietary LACO-Stim® technology, UIV011 is designed to engineer T cells directly within the patient's body to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) specific to GPC3. This approach aims to eliminate the complex and costly ex vivo manufacturing process associated with traditional CAR-T therapies while leveraging enhanced co-stimulation to improve the anti-tumor response and persistence of the generated CAR-T cells. It is currently in preclinical development.
