Upadacitinib + topical corticosteroids is a **combination therapy** used primarily for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adolescents and adults. Upadacitinib is an orally administered, selective Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor that modulates intracellular signaling in the JAK/STAT pathway, resulting in diminished transcription of pro-inflammatory cytokines central to the pathogenesis of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
