VTX-001

VTX-001 is a preclinical-stage bispecific antibody developed by Venn Therapeutics for the treatment of neoplasms. It is engineered to simultaneously target and neutralize the TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 isoforms of the Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily. TGF-β signaling in the tumor microenvironment is a key driver of immune suppression, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and fibrosis. By blocking these specific isoforms, VTX-001 is intended to alleviate immunosuppression and enhance the efficacy of other cancer therapies, such as checkpoint inhibitors, while potentially avoiding the toxicities associated with pan-TGF-β inhibition.
