WLB-302

WLB-302 is a biosimilar of the monoclonal antibody rituximab, developed by Shenzhen Wanle Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is a chimeric murine/human monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the CD20 antigen, a protein primarily found on the surface of B-lymphocytes. By binding to CD20, WLB-302 mediates B-cell lysis through mechanisms including antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), and the induction of apoptosis. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of CD20-positive B-cell malignancies, specifically non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Clinical development in China has reached Phase 3 trials to demonstrate therapeutic equivalence to the reference product.
