Overview
YiQiYangYinFang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation designed to benefit Qi and boost Yin, concepts central to TCM philosophy. It is a complex formula comprising nine traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. This formulation has been investigated for its therapeutic potential in various conditions, including type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and has reached Phase 3 clinical development for adenocarcinoma of the lung and advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma. Its mechanism of action is multi-targeted, involving the modulation of oxidative stress, inflammation, and key signaling pathways such as AGE/RAGE, TNF, and IL-17-mediated MAPK pathways.
