Overview

YTS101 is an investigational dual-targeting cell therapy developed by China Immunotech (Beijing) Biotechnology (also known as Bristar Immunotech) using its proprietary STAR-T (Synthetic T cell receptor and Antigen Receptor T cell) platform. The therapy is engineered to target both CD19 and CD20 antigens, which are frequently expressed in B-cell malignancies. The STAR-T platform utilizes a synthetic receptor that integrates antibody-derived antigen-recognition domains with the signaling machinery of the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex. This design aims to provide superior sensitivity, improved T-cell persistence, and enhanced infiltration into tumor tissues compared to traditional CAR-T therapies. YTS101 is being evaluated for the treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, with its Investigational New Drug (IND) application approved by the NMPA in March 2022.
