Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This investigational combination regimen is being evaluated for the first-line treatment of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). It consists of the next-generation, highly selective Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor **zanubrutinib** (Brukinsa) integrated with two alternating chemoimmunotherapy backbones: **R-CHOP** (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone) and **R-DHAP** (rituximab, dexamethasone, cytarabine, and cisplatin). The regimen is typically administered as induction therapy followed by maintenance therapy with zanubrutinib and rituximab. By combining a potent targeted agent that disrupts B-cell receptor signaling with intensive cytotoxic chemotherapy and anti-CD20 immunotherapy, the regimen aims to achieve high complete response rates and improve long-term outcomes in patients with treatment-naive MCL, an aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
