Overview

Inflammatory pathway kinases and transcription factors refers to a broad category of intracellular proteins that transmit signals from cell-surface receptors to the nucleus to initiate an immune response. However, because these pathways are also vital for normal immune surveillance and hematopoiesis, their pharmacological inhibition carries risks of serious infections, hematologic abnormalities, and potential malignancies (Source: FDA).
