Target intelligence / Profile preview
Nuclear factor kappa B subunit p65 (RELA) is a key component of the NF-κB transcription factor family, playing a central role in regulating immune responses, inflammation, cell survival, and tumorigenesis. It forms heterodimers with other NF-κB subunits, primarily p50, and translocates to the nucleus upon activation to regulate target gene expression. Aberrant activation of p65/NF-κB is implicated in chronic inflammatory diseases and cancer.
Inhibition of NF-κB signaling pathway via disruption of p65 DNA binding or transcriptional activity.
