Low-calorie diet versus tirzepatide for weight loss and metabolic improvement in overweight or obese adults with prediabetes

Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial of tirzepatide in prediabetes, obesity and Overweight (4 arms), sponsored by Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital. Primary endpoints: Continuous glucose monitoring metrics at week 24 and Percentage change in body weight from baseline at week 24. Planned start Sep 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
