Overview
Phase 2, randomised trial in Glomerulonephritis (GN) comparing Finerenone with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Change in Kidney Function at 9 months and Change in Proteinuria at 9 months. Started Apr 2025; status: completed.

Finerenone
50 patients receiving 10 - 20 mg finerenone once daily orally in addition to regular treatment protocol for 9 months.
Placebo
50 patients receiving placebo once daily in addition to regular treatment protocol for 9 months.

Who it enrols
Adult patients with biopsy-proven non-diabetic glomerulonephritis, eGFR >= 25, urinary protein > 500 mg/g, and baseline potassium < 5 mEq/L, who are on maximum tolerated doses of ACEi/ARBs.
