Phase 4, open-label trial of isoniazid, rifampicin and rifapentine in latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) (2 arms), sponsored by Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University. Primary endpoint: Incident active tuberculosis at 4 years. Started Aug 2022; status: recruiting.

2 arms- Study design
- Non-randomizedOpen-label
TPT Group
Initiation of a short-course TPT regimen (3HR or 3H2P2) for 3 months.
No-TPT Group
Non-initiation of TPT, receiving standard observation and symptom monitoring.

Who it enrols
Matriculating freshmen aged 14-24 years with strong positive TB skin tests (latent TB) and no active TB.
