Overview

ABP-110 is a tetravalent bispecific antibody (TetraBi) developed by Abpro for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It functions as a T-cell engager by simultaneously targeting Glypican 3 (GPC3) on tumor cells and CD3 on T cells. The antibody is engineered using Abpro's proprietary DiversImmune® and MultiMab™ platforms to feature bivalent binding for GPC3, which enhances affinity and specificity for cancer cells overexpressing the antigen. Despite having two CD3 binding sites, it is designed to be functionally monovalent for CD3 to prevent non-specific T-cell activation. GPC3 is an onco-fetal antigen highly expressed in HCC but absent in most normal adult tissues, making it a selective target for immunotherapy. Abpro holds worldwide exclusive rights to ABP-110 under a patent license from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
