Overview

BA211 is a bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by T-Cypher Bio for the treatment of various solid tumors. It is designed to simultaneously bind to TC11, an HLA-A2+ restricted tumor-associated antigen, and the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual binding recruits and activates cytotoxic T cells directly to the tumor site, facilitating the targeted destruction of cancer cells. BA211 is currently in the IND-enabling phase, with clinical trials anticipated to begin in 2027. The drug targets a broad range of indications, including microsatellite stable colorectal cancer (MSS CRC), gastric, esophageal, lung, bladder, and pancreatic cancers, as well as melanoma and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
