Overview

BMS-986315 + nivolumab is an investigational combination therapy being developed for the treatment of advanced cancers, primarily non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). BMS-986315 is a novel monoclonal antibody targeting NKG2A, an inhibitory receptor on natural killer (NK) cells and some T cells. By blocking NKG2A, BMS-986315 aims to enhance the immune system’s ability to attack tumor cells. Nivolumab is a well-established immune checkpoint inhibitor that targets PD‑1 on T cells, thereby promoting anti-tumor immunity. The combination leverages dual immunomodulatory mechanisms to potentially improve outcomes in patients with advanced or recurrent NSCLC and other solid tumors. Clinical trials have evaluated this combination both alone and with chemotherapy in first-line settings for stage IV or recurrent NSCLC[1][2][3][4][5][6].
