Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of cladribine, a purine nucleoside analog used for treating relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, and pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. The combination has been specifically studied to assess potential drug-drug interactions, particularly whether pantoprazole's effect on gastric pH might alter cladribine's oral bioavailability. Clinical studies have shown that coadministration of pantoprazole with cladribine tablets had no significant effect on the rate and extent of cladribine absorption.
