Overview

ERI-0036 is a universal (allogeneic) Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Novatium in partnership with Factor Bioscience. It is designed to treat renal cell carcinoma by targeting the CD5 and CD52 antigens. As an allogeneic, "off-the-shelf" therapy, ERI-0036 is engineered from healthy donor cells rather than the patient's own cells, likely utilizing Factor Bioscience's mRNA-based cell reprogramming and gene-editing technologies to prevent graft-versus-host disease and host-mediated rejection. The therapy aims to provide a standardized, readily available treatment option for patients with solid tumors expressing these targets. It is currently in the discovery-to-preclinical phase of development.
