Overview

GCAR is an investigational *in vivo* chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy platform developed by Exuma Biotechnology for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, such as Large B-Cell Lymphoma (LBCL). Unlike conventional CAR-T therapies that require complex *ex vivo* cell manipulation and lymphodepleting chemotherapy, the GCAR platform utilizes a CD3-directed lentiviral vector administered directly to the patient. This vector specifically targets T cells *in vivo* to deliver a genetic payload encoding a CD19-directed CAR and a proprietary "FITNESS DRIVER," which is designed to enhance the proliferation, persistence, and cytotoxic potency of the engineered cells. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials.
