Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of GM-CSF (granulocyte colony-stimulating factor), cytarabine, etoposide, and mitoxantrone. This regimen is primarily used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other high-grade myeloid neoplasms. GM-CSF stimulates bone marrow to produce white blood cells, while the three chemotherapeutic agents target rapidly dividing cancer cells through different mechanisms.
