Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMX-110 is a first-in-class Tissue-Protective Therapy (TPT) being developed by Immix Biopharma for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It utilizes a proprietary nanoparticle formulation to co-encapsulate doxorubicin, a DNA-intercalating chemotherapy agent, and curcumin, a small molecule inhibitor of the NF-kB pathway. This combination is designed to overcome chemoresistance by simultaneously inducing cancer cell death and suppressing pro-survival inflammatory signaling within the tumor microenvironment. IMX-110 has demonstrated promising activity in soft tissue sarcoma and has received Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease designations from the FDA. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials across multiple solid tumor indications, including colorectal and pancreatic cancers.
