This combination has been studied in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), particularly in patients not optimally responsive to interferon beta monotherapy[1][3]. The available data suggest additive efficacy in reducing MRI lesion activity and possible reduction in relapse rate, with a side effect profile consistent with the known tolerability of both agents, such as nausea[1][3].
