Overview

Jactinib is a small molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor developed by Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceuticals. It primarily targets JAK1, JAK2, and JAK3, thereby modulating the JAK-STAT signaling pathway which is crucial in the pathogenesis of various inflammatory and hematologic disorders. Jactinib is being investigated for a wide range of indications, including myelofibrosis, alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. In clinical trials, it has demonstrated efficacy in reducing spleen volume and improving constitutional symptoms in patients with myelofibrosis. It is the first domestically developed JAK inhibitor in China to submit a New Drug Application (NDA) for the treatment of myelofibrosis.
