momelotinib dihydrochloride

Momelotinib dihydrochloride is the dihydrochloride salt form of **momelotinib**, an orally administered, ATP-competitive **small-molecule** kinase inhibitor targeting **Janus kinase 1** and **Janus kinase 2**. It was originated by Cytopia Research, later developed by Sierra Oncology, and is now developed and commercialized by Gilead. The active moiety momelotinib is marketed as OJJAARA for adults with intermediate- or high-risk myelofibrosis with anemia, including primary myelofibrosis and secondary myelofibrosis following polycythemia vera or essential thrombocythemia. By inhibiting aberrant JAK-STAT signaling, momelotinib reduces myelofibrosis-related inflammatory and proliferative signaling; the clinical product is administered orally, typically as 200 mg once daily of momelotinib.
