Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PG-011 gel is a topical small molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor developed by Beijing Puqi Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, primarily atopic dermatitis. By inhibiting the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, PG-011 modulates the activity of cytokines that drive the chronic inflammation and itching associated with atopic dermatitis. The drug is formulated as a gel for localized application to minimize systemic exposure and potential side effects. It has undergone Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy adults.
