Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qingdu Fang lotion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical formulation developed by the Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of persistent high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infections. Administered intravaginally, the lotion is designed to facilitate HPV clearance by modulating the vaginal immune microenvironment and exerting local anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects. It has been evaluated in randomized clinical trials comparing its efficacy against recombinant human interferon α-2b gel in women with persistent high-risk cervical HPV infection, focusing on its ability to improve the local immune response and clear viral infection.
