Ruxolitinib + steroids is an investigational combination regimen being evaluated as a first-line therapy for patients with grade II acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Clinical trials, including phase III studies led by researchers at the Chinese PLA General Hospital, have demonstrated that this combination can achieve high complete response rates and potentially reduce the cumulative dose of steroids required for treatment.
