Ruxolitinib + temozolomide is a combination therapy being investigated primarily for the treatment of high-grade gliomas, including glioblastoma. Ruxolitinib is a JAK1/2 inhibitor that targets the JAK/STAT pathway, which has been associated with tumor progression and worse outcomes in glioblastoma patients. Temozolomide is a DNA-alkylating agent that works by damaging the DNA of tumor cells, preventing proper cell division.
