WXFL10203614 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) currently under development by Wuxi Fuxin Pharmaceutical Research and Development. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. By selectively targeting JAK1, the drug modulates the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, which is critical for the transduction of signals from various pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interferons. This inhibition leads to a reduction in the inflammatory processes that drive joint destruction and systemic symptoms in rheumatoid arthritis patients.
