Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of bevacizumab (an anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody), docetaxel (a taxane-based chemotherapy), and pemetrexed (a folate analog). This triple combination targets multiple pathways in cancer treatment: bevacizumab inhibits angiogenesis by targeting VEGF-A, docetaxel disrupts cell division by stabilizing microtubules, and pemetrexed inhibits folate-dependent enzymes involved in DNA synthesis. The combination has been studied primarily for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treatment.
