Flucitrin is a line of over-the-counter (OTC) cold and flu combination medications developed and marketed by the Iranian pharmaceutical company Abian Pharmed. It is available in two distinct formulations packaged as sachets for oral solution: Flucitrin Day and Flucitrin Night. Flucitrin Day contains acetaminophen (an analgesic and antipyretic), phenylephrine hydrochloride (a nasal decongestant), dextromethorphan hydrobromide (a cough suppressant), and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). Flucitrin Night contains acetaminophen, phenylephrine hydrochloride, diphenhydramine hydrochloride (a sedating antihistamine), and ascorbic acid. Together, these formulations are used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, influenza, and sinusitis, including fever, body aches, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, and coughing.
