Overview

ONC-783 is a humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by OncoC4, Inc., designed to treat advanced solid tumors. It functions as a T-cell engager by simultaneously targeting a cancer-specific neo-epitope of CD24 and the CD3 receptor on T cells. CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein that is overexpressed in approximately 70% of human cancers, including colorectal, ovarian, pancreatic, and breast cancers, where it often acts as an immune checkpoint. By binding to both the tumor antigen and the T-cell receptor complex, ONC-783 redirects T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity specifically against cancer cells while sparing normal tissues that express standard CD24. The drug is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with metastatic or advanced malignancies.
