Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of the atypical antipsychotic aripiprazole with two corticosteroids (methylprednisolone and prednisolone). Aripiprazole works by balancing dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain to help treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and as an adjunctive treatment for depression. Methylprednisolone and prednisolone are corticosteroids used to treat inflammation and immune reactions across various organ systems. When used together, careful monitoring is required as corticosteroids can potentially cause psychiatric symptoms including psychosis, and antipsychotics may be used to manage these steroid-induced psychiatric effects.
