Overview

Repibresib (VYN201) is a topical, small molecule pan-bromodomain and extra-terminal domain (BET) inhibitor being developed by VYNE Therapeutics for the treatment of nonsegmental vitiligo. It targets BRD2, BRD3, BRD4, and BRDT proteins, which are epigenetic regulators of gene transcription involved in inflammatory pathways. Designed as a 'soft drug,' repibresib is intended for local action with minimal systemic exposure to reduce potential side effects. The compound was originally licensed from Tay Therapeutics and is currently in Phase 2b clinical development.
