  1. Phase 3Pulmonary fibrosis (PF)

    nerandomilast

Effect of nerandomilast in patients with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) according to guideline criteria: data from the FIBRONEER-ILD trial

Among patients who met guideline criteria, 57 (16.6%) in the placebo group died versus 33 (9.7%) in the nerandomilast 9 mg bid group (HR: 0.55 [0.36, 0.85]) and 31(9.1%) in the nerandomilast 18 mg bid group (HR: 0.54 [0.35, 0.84]).

  2. Phase 3Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH)

    sotatercept

Treatment response to sotatercept within 1 year of diagnosis of pulmonary arterial hypertension: subgroup analysis by cardiometabolic comorbidity burden

    Participants with 0 (n=109) or ≥1 (n=211) CMC had a longer time to a first clinical worsening event with sotatercept vs placebo (hazard ratio [95% CI]): 0 CMC 0.13 (0.04–0.43; P<0.0001); ≥1 CMCs 0.29 (0.16–0.54; P<0.0001).

  3. Phase 3Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)GSK

    mepolizumab

Impact of airflow obstruction severity on mepolizumab response in COPD with an eosinophilic phenotype: optimising quality of life by timely intervention in patients with GOLD 2 while maintaining exacerbation reduction across all GOLD grades

The annualized rate of moderate/severe exacerbations was reduced with mepolizumab vs placebo by 22% (BEC ≥150 cells/µL) and 18% (≥300 cells/µL) in patients with GOLD 2 and similarly by 19% (BEC ≥150 cells/µL) and 24% (≥300 cells/µL) in those with GOLD 3+4.

  4. Phase 4Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

    metoprolol

Metoprolol in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease without Cardiovascular Disease - a randomized controlled trial

The primary end point occurred in 27% of patients assigned to metoprolol and in 30% assigned to standard care (hazard ratio 0.87; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.73-1.05, P = 0.14).

  5. Phase 4Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP)

    dupilumab

Clinical asthma remission and nasal polyp outcomes with dupilumab versus omalizumab in patients with severe chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and uncontrolled asthma: results from EVEREST

At Wk 24, more patients receiving dupilumab vs omalizumab achieved asthma remission (64.0% vs 40.5%, P<0.0001) and greater NPS improvements independent of asthma remission status.

  6. Phase 2Asthma

    CM326

Efficacy and Safety of CM326, a Humanized Anti-Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP) Monoclonal Antibody, in Moderate-to-Severe Asthma: A Phase II Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial

Treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) were similar (72.5%-76.5% CM326 vs 75% placebo), with no discontinuations or deaths.

  7. Phase 2Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP)

    lunsekimig

Lunsekimig for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps: results from the DUET trial

Incidence of treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) was 61.5% with lunsekimig vs 42.5% with pbo; common TEAEs (≥5%) were injection site reaction, viral upper respiratory tract infection, nasopharyngitis, epistaxis, ear pain, and increased creatine phosphokinase.

  8. Phase 2AsthmaUpstream Bio

    vereckitug

VALIANT: a phase 2 trial of the efficacy and safety of verekitug, a thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) receptor antagonist, for severe asthma

Treatment-emergent adverse event incidence was similar with verekitug (58–62%) vs PBO (66%).

    HSK39004

A Dose-Ranging Study of the Novel PDE3/4 Inhibitor HSK39004 in Patients with COPD Receiving Maintenance Single or Dual Bronchodilators

The TRAE rate was 6.1% in the 1.5 mg group, lower than that of placebo (7.9%).
